Live Train Status
A Flutter and SQL railway-information prototype for finding trains, exploring routes, viewing schedules, and managing delay information.
About the project
The project connects a relational railway model to a mobile interface. Trains, stations, ordered stops, and delays support queries for journeys and arrival estimates; Flutter screens present lookup, status, and administrative workflows through JSON endpoints. It was built as coursework, and the original hosted backend is not offered as a currently operating live service.
What I built
- Modeled trains, stations, ordered schedules, routes, and delays in SQL. Used relational queries and views to find possible journeys and derive arrival estimates.
- Built Flutter lookup, status, and admin delay screens consuming JSON endpoints. This is a coursework prototype; the original hosted backend is not presented as a currently operating service.
